In my first photojournalism class I did a story on a man named Tony Corriher, who lives in Landis, N.C. He collects old emergency vehicles.

Barber Scotia College

Back in March & April, I did a series of photographs of Barber Scotia College in Concord, N.C., at the request of my dad. He is very involved in the revitalization of the school, and some friends of his thought it would be a great idea for me to put together a photography display of BSC for the April Art Walk in downtown Concord. They were hoping it would stir up some interest in the community. In the end I had a bunch of prints on an 8-foot tall display made of window sashes saved from the recent renovation of Faith Hall that my dad and brother put together. The school has put it up several times since the Art Walk.
