I have done one complete redesign and an update of McClatchy’s email welcome series for new subscribers. I worked closely with our UX Designer/Researcher and our Creative Copywriter to create these email designs. I wrote the HTML and CSS for them and ensured the layouts adapted gracefully on mobile screens.

I used skyline images that my team created for an earlier campaign and added “Welcome” to them in the style of a vintage postcard to use for the first email in the series. Each email after the first one focuses on one product. There are 4 total emails in the series, plus a 5th email that only goes to print + digital subscribers with instructions on how to activate their digital access (this email will be discontinued by mid-2022 because of a vendor change).
