The Saratoga Design System (SDS) is what all of McClatchy’s publications use for their websites, as of 2019. The SDS project was a huge undertaking by the Design team and many of us worked on it throughout the process.
Another team member and I worked closely to design the new story pages and I developed a grid for all the designs to use as there had not been one up to that point. I also redid the layout for the site footers based upon the new grid. We used Sketch for all of our designs and InVision to share prototypes.
